First Responders

I would like to keep you all updated on the responders.

We have been going for 4 years now and this year has been our busiest yet. We have had 17 calls this year and all went well with them all providing comfort and support while waiting for an Ambulance to get to the village.

This year we have all successfully gone through a 2 day update course to ensure we are all up to date. This, is alongside our monthly training.

We would like to welcome a new member Ken Wetherstone who is also a member of the Coastguard and Mountain Rescue and has just completed his training with Scottish Ambulance Service.

Become a First Responder

We are always looking for new volunteers within Lochgoilhead and especially Carrick . All training and equipment is provided. For further information please contact me.
