Monday Lunch Club

Introduction

The idea of the Club came from our much respected Practice Nurse who thought it would be a good idea to encourage people who were about their house, particularly on their own, to come along for a chat and companionship. A warm welcome will be extended to anybody who crosses the threshold.

Details

Held every Monday, barring holidays and special events, in the library of the Village Hall. It is run voluntarily under the auspices of The Community Trust. The Club starts normally about 11.30 – 11.45 with a cup of tea or coffee and some home baking followed at about 12.30pm with a choice of homemade soup and sandwiches followed again by tea, coffee and homemade something. Contributions are welcome but not obligatory.
