Carrick Castle Community Trust Ltd.
Introduction
The Carrick Castle Community Trust was set up in 2016 for the benefit of the community of Carrick Castle. The Community Trust replaced and took over from Carrick Castle Amenities Association – the Trust status enabling access to a broader range of grants and funding options, in particular in pursuit of the goal of providing a Community facility within Carrick Castle.
Objectives
Following principles of sustainable development, the Carrick Castle Community Trust seeks to:
- Provide, in the interests of social welfare, facilities for recreation and other leisure time activity available to the public at large within the Community
- Preserve, restore and improve the environment in the Community through the provision, maintenance and/or improvement of public open space and other public amenities, environmental and regeneration projects
- Promote for public benefit the preservation of buildings and other structures of historic and/or architectural significance located within the Community
- Advance citizenship and community development within the Community
- Promote, operate, establish and/or support other similar projects and programmes which further charitable purposes
