SEPTIC TANK EMPTYING

.Introduction.

Scottish Water offers a range of septic tank de-sludging services. These services are available to household and business customers who own a private septic tank which takes standard waste, such as sewage and waste water.

Information on how to get a domestic septic tank emptied, or scheduled for regular emptying, can be found on the Scottish Water website.

As of January 2013 they charge £230 for an unscheduled call out.

You can fill in an online application form where they will empty the tank every 3 years..
