Please note that some tree felling work will be taking place in “The Base”, ie the QinetiQ facility at Douglas Pier, on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th November.

The intention is that the work will be wholly contained within the site – but as a safety precaution the road will be closed for brief periods when trees near the perimeter fence are taken down.  All going well, any delays should be minimal – but do bear in mind if you have an important journey out of or into Carrick Castle on these days.
