Since the October storm damage Lochgoil Community Trust has been waiting for formal permission from FLS to reconnect the two sections of the River Walk. They recently gave permission to scope out the route and have agreed that walkers can use it while the Trust waits for the final permission to start work. It is very muddy underfoot but probably better than walking on the road, which is only going to get busier as the holiday season approaches. It really isn’t suitable for cycling so please dismount as you pass through.
