Resurfacing of the forestry road at the corner of the B839 and the road bridge out of the village will begin towards the end of October. At this stage, only the first 100 metres or so of road will be laid in preparation for timber harvesting. The forestry road will remain closed to the public for the duration of these works, which are expected to last for a few weeks. Please do not attempt to use the road until work has been completed.
