LOCHGOILHEAD AND CARRICK COMMUNITY LOCKDOWN LETTERS
We are all hoping that the uncertain times we are living in right now are a once in a lifetime occurrence. Even though we are all living through a tough and stressful time, it will definitely be one for the history books.
We would like the people of Lochgoilhead and Carrick to document their experiences so they and new residents of the community will be able to look back years down the line on their memories of this time.
“Lochgoilhead and Carrick Community Lockdown Letters” gives the whole community a chance to contribute a letter to a “time capsule” that will be opened in 20 years time. Our time capsule of letters will be held safe by the Community Emergency Plan Group.
So here is how to be part of it.
- Write a letter of your lockdown experience, what life has been like and what you’ve been doing day to day. You may also like to add a picture.
- Add your name and address
- Put in an envelope with “CEPG Do not open until April 2040” on the front.
- Drop your letters off by the 18th May to either the Surgery letterbox or into a box in the Post Office or Costcutters.
Can’t wait for you all to get involved.
