Lochgoil Community Trust – Extract of Minutes 4 December

The full minutes will be available soon, but for those in a hurry the Trust have kindly provided the following extracts:

Community Garden:  A funding application has been made for new features. We are evaluating the installation of a Polygrub tunnel, an alternative to a polytunnel.

Following a request at the AGM, two “dog on lead” notices to be obtained in the Spring.

Deer Larder: A community survey is being issued. No decision to go ahead with the purchase to be made pending results of the building survey and the community survey.

River Goil: A project has been created for habitat improvement involving fencing, tree planting and bank revetment to prevent erosion. The National Park are providing the funding and Argyll Fisheries Trust (AFT) have gained approval from SEPA. The Trust agreed to take on the project.

Action Plan: Our Action Plan was shortlisted for the Partnership category of the Scottish Awards for Quality in Planning – we get a certificate. A video was made as part of the presentation and is available on our website.

Communications: The website to be updated.

A pdf version of the funding application form and instructions to be put on the website.
