Hi Folks,

If you fancy a moderate walk this Easter Sunday, Moira Ferguson will be taking Diane Taylor of ‘The Dales Rails’ around Asgog castle and the Sillaig standing Stones
in the Portavadie area.  Anyone wh’d like to join her will be most welcome.

Diane is part of The Dales Rails Yorkshire group who came to Cowal last year about this time and is also involved with the ‘Right to Stride’ group.
It is a circular walk taking in the first part of the Cowal Way to the ruins of Asgog Castle and returning via the Stillaig Standing Stones near Stillaig Farm and the Boys Brigade huts.  There will be some road walking (approx 1 mile)

The terrain is varied and can be rough and muddy in places. Dogs on leads only. Opportunity for refreshments at Portavadie Marina after walk.
