The AGM and Gathering of the Community Partnership was held in the Buchanan Arms Hotel, Drymen on Saturday 5th November 2016.

In excess of 80 attended from Communities around the National Park.

The theme for this years Gathering was Arts and Innovation in the Park and the following workshops took place

  • Creative Scotland – Open Fund programme
  • Community Ownership of Community Assets for Arts – DTAS
  • Wildgrass Studio – photography “taster” workshop for creative communities
  • Big Lottery – Awards for All programme
  • Dunoon Burgh Hall – Creativity in the Community.

The Community Champion Awards Ceremony took place.

The Community Champion Awards acknowledge the work of groups and individuals within the Park who have contributed greatly to the development and enhancement of their communities.

The Long Standing Champion Award was awarded to Elizabeth Bain from Lochgoilhead.

We extend our congratulations to Elizabeth.
