Lochgoilhead – Lifeguard Opportunity – Training Offered

Drimsynie Estate Holiday Village in beautiful Lochgoilhead is Argyll Holiday’s flagship park, currently undergoing a major investment to extend the main complex building. Offering a full suite of on-site leisure activities and hospitality, the swimming pool area is extremely popular with our visitors, owners, locals and staff.  We presently have the opportunity for a Lifeguard and we can consider offering NPLQ training if you are

  • Over 16 years of age
  • Able to swim 100m on the front and 100m on the back without stopping
  • Able to swim 50 m in under 1 minute
  • Able to surface dive and recover an object from the deepest part of the pool.
  • As a Lifeguard your main duties will be:
  • Monitoring users of the pool to ensure they are safe
  • Ensuring people in and around the pool are complying with guidelines to have a safe and enjoyable visit
  • Carrying out first aid and rescues when required
  • Being alert at all times
  • Ensuring the leisure club’s standards are maintained.

Lochgoilhead – Electrician 17th Edition

Drimsynie Construction is a specialist holiday park construction company based in Argyll, Scotland – just over one hour from Glasgow.  Working across several locations, we carry out a range of maintenance, repair and improvement work whilst demonstrating a commitment to quality service.  We ensure the facilities offered by our clients are constructed and maintained to the high standards their holidaymakers and owners have come to expect.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Electrician to expand our experienced team of tradesmen who will also play a key part in the fit-out and finishing of a new multi-million pound development.

Suitable candidates should be 17th Edition qualified electricians with a current test and inspection certificate.  You will be expected to liaise not only with customers, but also with other departments within the wider group.  This is a multi-site organisation, therefore candidates will be expected to carry out installation, maintenance and repairs at locations throughout the West of Scotland.  A valid full driving licence is essential for this position.  The role is Monday to Friday with a requirement to be on-call from time to time.  Please apply with your CV to Lorraine Drew, hr@argyllholidays.com

Loch Awe – Park Warden Couple – General Assistant

Based at Taynuilt near Oban, our Loch Awe Holiday Park Wardens assist the Park Managers in the daily running of the site including housekeeping duties, laundry, attending to general maintenance issues, grounds work, grass-cutting, litter-picking and cleaning of holiday homes and lodges. 

These are General Assistant positions as they will encompass several aspects of the operation.  Previous experience within a holiday park environment would be preferred and a driving licence is essential.
